The premiere date of Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar's famous Sport/Drama film "Toofaan" has been revealed. The film will release on Amazon Prime Video on July 16. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and produced by Excel Entertainment Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film is touted to be the biggest Sport/Drama of the year.
Sharing the poster of the film Toofaan on social media, Farhan wrote:
"With humility, love and in dedication to the fighting spirit of the beautiful people of our nation, our film ‘Toofaan’ will be releasing on July 16th. #ToofaanOnPrime"
Talking about the film Toofaan, it is based on an inspiring story. The film revolves around the life of Ajju Bhai, an orphan boy born in Dongri, Mumbai. Who grows up to become a local goon. His life changes when he meets Ananya, a bright and kind lady. Whose faith inspires him to find his passion as he begins his journey to become boxing champion Aziz Ali.

Apart from Farhan, Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak, Darshan Kumar, Mohan Agashe, Hussain Dalal and Vijay Raj are going to be seen in this film.
Farhan, who plays a boxer in the film, has worked hard for his character. He also shared about this on social media. The actor revealed that highlighting his real struggle behind getting into the look of a boxer and training hard to portray him, Farhan Akhtar shared the post on his social media and wrote, I didn't like drills and neither did 5 Waking up in the morning This film however helped me become a disciplined person. As a boxer and as a human being, I have become better than before.
