Many projects of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar are pending. As soon as the situation gets better, Akshay is once again planning to start working on all his films together. Meanwhile, the actor's upcoming film 'Bell bottom' is in the news and the reason for this is the rumor about Akshay's fee.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar on Monday took to social media to refute reports that he has charged Rs 30 crore for the upcoming Thriller/Action 'Bell Bottom'. Akshay tweeted on Monday, 

"What waking up to FAKE Scoops feels like! 🙄🥴"

His tweet comes in response to a news report which claims that the actor has charged Rs 30 crore for 'Bell Bottom'.

Vashu Bhagnani, one of the producers of the film has also denied all such reports. Reacting to the news, Bhagnani tweeted:

"No Truth to this news at all"

Bell bottom is a period spy thriller set in the eighties. Akshay will be seen in the role of a secret agent in the film. There is a lot of excitement among the fans of the actor regarding this film. The special thing about 'Bell bottom' is that this film has been shot during the corona virus pandemic and its teaser was also released last year. Akshay Kumar, known for his start-to-finish schedule, shot Bell bottom in Scotland. 'Bell bottom' is directed by Ranjit Tiwari. Vaani Kapoor is in the female lead in the film, while Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta will be seen in important roles.

Akshay has been facing rumours lately. Recently, the actor rubbished speculations on the release date of his upcoming films 'Sooryavanshi' and 'Bell Bottom' on social media. Akshay reacted to unconfirmed reports which claimed that both the films will hit the Independence Day in August.

He said in his statement:

"I am humbled at the enthusiasm and eagerness of our fans regarding the release of Sooryavanshi and Bell Bottom, and would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for all their love. Also told that it is just a runoff that both the films will release on Independence Day. The makers of both the films are working on the release dates and will announce in due course."
