Star-Studded Triumphs Across Categories

Among the standout performers of the fifth edition was "Good Hang with Amy Poehler," produced under Spotify’s The Ringer banner. The comedy star's production secured both the Gold award and the Listener's Choice prize for Best Host, while also earning a Silver recognition in the Best Video Podcast bracket.

In the Best Host (Culture) category, multiple prominent voices reached the highest tier. Khloé Kardashian's Dear Media production "Khloé in Wonder Land" achieved Gold status, joined in the top tier by "Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky" from the fwd. network and "Angie Martinez IRL" via The Volume. Lewinsky’s podcast also took home a Silver medal and a Listener's Choice honor in the Conversation Starter field.

Broadcast News and Sports Stars Earn Gold

Veteran television journalists and professional athletes also captured major distinctions. CNN’s "All There Is with Anderson Cooper" won Gold for Best Video Podcast, sharing top honors in that section with shows including NPR’s "Wild Card with Rachel Martin."

On the athletic front, "Served with Andy Roddick," created by Served Media LLC, dominated the Sports category by taking home both the Gold and the Listener's Choice honors. iHeartPodcasts also landed a Gold in the sports arena with "Good Game With Sarah Spain." In the arts, "SongWriter: Isabella Rossellini + Sharon Van Etten" earned a Gold award in the Music (Individual Episodes) division.

Special Trophies and Industry Milestones

In addition to the standard Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, the fifth annual event designated several individual and corporate career honors. Phoebe Judge, host and co-creator of "Criminal," was selected to receive the Audio Icon Award in recognition of her sustained contributions to the audio medium. The Special Achievement Award went to Pablo Torre, the host and executive editor behind "Pablo Torre Finds Out."

Corporate triumphs went heavily to iHeartMedia branches. iHeartPodcasts secured the title of Company of the Year, and Ruby Studios was recognized as Agency of the Year. Signal Awards general manager Jemma Brown noted that podcasting is no longer bound to a single approach or distribution format, emphasizing that the honors focus on the creative risks influencing the next phase of the medium.

All recognized creators and studios are scheduled to celebrate their distinctions in person during the Signal Awards Winners Party, set to take place on Nov. 9 in Brooklyn, New York.
