My Dearest Nemesis Episode 7

In Episode 7 of the show "My Dearest Nemesis," Su-jeong is out on her second date with Ji-wu but can't stop thinking about Ju-yeon. Things get tricky when Ju-yeon unexpectedly calls her to find out where she is. He shows up dressed for a concert while Ji-wu is trying on clothes. Ju-yeon takes the chance to pull Su-jeong into a changing room to talk about their recent kiss. When an employee tries to come in, a nervous Su-jeong quickly leaves the room, pretending to fix her shirt. She distracts the employee just long enough for Ju-yeon to slip away.

Su-jeong is feeling very emotional and decides to turn down Ji-wu. As Ji-wu leaves, Ju-yeon comes up to her and says he's sorry for not remembering their kiss, but he also says he doesn't regret it. This makes Su-jeong feel uneasy. Right then, she gets a call from Ha-jin and quickly leaves, without resolving the awkward situation.

All night long, Su-jeong is dealing with her emotions and is surprised that she could have feelings for someone as young and unusual as Ju-yeon. Meanwhile, Ju-yeon can't stop thinking about her and sends her a text. Even though Su-jeong smiles when she reads his message, she decides not to reply, leaving Ju-yeon unsure about her feelings.

At the same time, Ha-jin and her parents are confused about why Su-jeong turned down Ji-wu. Ha-jin's mother keeps bothering her about finding someone to date, and in a careless moment, Ha-jin accidentally lets slip that she might have feelings for someone.

At work, Ju-yeon keeps looking for Su-jeong, but she tries her best to avoid him. While thinking about their potential relationship, Su-jeong makes a list of good and bad things about dating Ju-yeon, though the bad things are minor, like his dragon tattoo and his love for gaming.

Everything changes when Ju-yeon is revealed to be Chairwoman Ban's grandson, and the news quickly spreads. Mr. Baek and everyone at the office are impressed. Su-jeong then realizes that someone as important as Ju-yeon wouldn't date her, so she decides to delete her list, feeling a mix of giving up and disappointment.

Ju-yeon finally catches up with Su-jeong, but she gives him a tough reality check. She tells him that she's his employee and dating the heir of Yongsung would probably cost her job. Even though Ju-yeon tries to change her mind, he eventually agrees that she's right.

Meanwhile, Shin-won can't stop thinking about Ha-jin. His friend tries to set him up on a date at Sulo, but he says no because he doesn't want to make Ha-jin uncomfortable. However, Shin-won can't help but visit her neighborhood and watch her from a distance. Ha-jin, on the other hand, begins to realize how much she misses him.

Kwon is thrilled for Ju-yeon because he believes Ju-yeon is closer to becoming the heir. This makes Ju-yeon realize again that he'll soon need to choose between his grandmother and Su-jeong. Meanwhile, Shin-won shows up drunk and heartbroken, feeling sad about Ha-jin. For the first time, Ju-yeon can relate to his friend because he's also dealing with his own conflicting emotions.

At work, Ju-yeon tries to stay professional but can't help watching Su-jeong. When she mentions she has a date but doesn't give details, Ju-yeon gets curious and decides to follow her. He finds out she's spending time with her family. The Baek men are friendly and welcome him, and they have a pleasant evening together, with Ju-yeon even paying for dinner. At the end of the night, Su-bin pulls Ju-yeon aside and warns him not to hurt Su-jeong. Ju-yeon seriously promises that he has no intention of breaking Su-jeong's heart.

Meanwhile, Ju-yeon's maid accidentally tells the Chairwoman that he never lets her clean the study, which makes the Chairwoman curious. She decides to visit Ju-yeon's home after a meeting to check it out.

At the same time, Su-jeong confronts Ju-yeon about interrupting her lunch, and Ju-yeon nervously admits that he's scared of his feelings for her. Their conversation is cut short when Kwon arrives with news that the Chairwoman is coming to visit. Ju-yeon panics, and Su-jeong quickly offers to help. Along with Shin-won, Ha-jin, and Kwon, they try to delay and distract the Chairwoman, but their attempts mostly fail.

After the Chairwoman leaves, Ha-jin acts friendly towards Shin-won, who seems sad that she doesn't share his feelings. However, as Ha-jin drives away, she looks at Shin-won in the rearview mirror, suggesting she might be more conflicted about her feelings than she shows.

Meanwhile, Ju-yeon and Su-jeong haven't moved everything to her place yet. Su-jeong hides while Ju-yeon nervously opens the door to greet his grandmother, getting ready for whatever challenges the visit might bring.

Ju-yeon's grandmother is confused by how normal his study looks. She finds a family photo that Ju-yeon intentionally placed to provoke her. She gets very angry and upset, saying that Ju-yeon has no right to miss her son and blames him for his death. In her rage, she breaks the photo and tells Kwon to keep a closer eye on Ju-yeon, making the relationship between them even more strained.

After everyone leaves, Su-jeong comes out to help Ju-yeon clean up the mess. Ju-yeon talks about how difficult his relationship with his grandmother is and says that his hobbies are the only things that make him happy. He admits that he has kept everything he loves a secret but can't hide his feelings for Su-jeong anymore. Deep in thought, Su-jeong goes back home. Her father sees that she's sad and asks if something is wrong, and she tells him it's not because of him.

Remembering all the happy times with Ju-yeon, Su-jeong quickly goes to find him. She finds him at the fountain and nervously asks if he is okay with people knowing about their relationship. Ju-yeon confidently says he is, and Su-jeong tells him she likes him too. They share a heartfelt kiss at the end of Episode 7 of "My Dearest Nemesis." The scene then shifts to Ju-yeon's belongings in her attic, with one box labeled "Black Dragon," suggesting there are still secrets to be revealed.

The Episode Review

Episode 7 of "My Dearest Nemesis" starts the second half of the K-drama with a touching and emotional story. Hyun-wook does a great job showing a young man who is heartbroken and openly shows his feelings. We see him go from being excited about his first kiss with his crush to sadly realizing that outside factors might keep them apart.

The most painful part is Ju-yeon's grandmother, who seems unforgivable at this point. Even after many years, she still can't let go of her anger towards Ju-yeon. This is the weakest part of the show unless the writers come up with an interesting plot twist that explains why she acts this way.

The main focus of the show is the development of the couple's love story, which is told in a clear and engaging way. There are the usual misunderstandings, moments of uncertainty, and little arguments. However, these typical issues are quickly dealt with, making the story fun and exciting. This keeps viewers excited for each new episode, and the upcoming secret dating phase will be especially thrilling as it reveals the couple's shared love for gaming.
