In the film, "Adam Clay," Jason Statham plays a solitary beekeeper who resides with his bees in a barn. He is accompanied by his neighbor, Eloise Parker (Phylicia Rashad), a retired teacher who takes care of him. Eloise is the only individual who has shown him kindness, so he is left devastated when she commits suicide after her computer is hacked and her funds are stolen by criminals.

At first, Clay is the main suspect in Eloise's murder, especially when her daughter Verona, an FBI agent (played by Emmy Raver-Lampman), shows up at the scene. However, Clay is eventually cleared and released, but he is determined to seek revenge on the company responsible for stealing money from Eloise. As it turns out, Clay is a former special agent and member of a group called the Beekeepers. He utilizes his connections to identify the perpetrators and eliminates anyone who obstructs his search for the true perpetrator - a wealthy and entitled individual named Derek Danforth (played by Josh Hutcherson).

What takes place at the second customer service center?

Following a confrontation at a gas station where someone was sent to assassinate Clay, he takes care of the assailant, destroys the gas station, and proceeds to a different call center that is scamming diligent individuals out of their funds. He covertly infiltrates the call center and finds out that a SWAT team has already beaten him to the scene.

The protagonist discloses his identity and physically confronts the SWAT team and private security personnel in order to reach the leader of the call center. Using torture, he coerces the leader to divulge information about the true mastermind behind the operation, who is later revealed to be Derek Danforth. Agents Verona and Wiley make an appearance, but the protagonist, Clay, manages to flee the scene, sparing Wiley's life despite his attempt to stop him. Verona and Wiley become alarmed when they see a picture of Derek Danforth on the computer screen that was shown to Clay during the interrogation. The reason for their surprise and concern is yet to be determined.

Who is the mother of Derek Danforth?

Westwyld expresses concern over the upcoming assault by Clay and convinces Derek to contact his mother and seek refuge at their beach house for safety. It is later revealed that his mother holds the position of President in the United States. Verona and Wiley manage to persuade the deputy director of the FBI to provide them with the necessary resources to defend the President against Clay's attack. Meanwhile, Westwyld hires an eccentric assassin from South Africa, Lazarus, to protect them during their stay at the beach house. This plan coincides with a major birthday celebration at the President's residence.

What is the ending of The Beekeeper?

Under a van, Clay conceals himself and ambushes a secret service agent as they leave, taking their attire and assuming their identity in order to enter the beach house and carry out his plan.

At the party, he blends in until Verona spots him and holds him at gunpoint. Lazarus is also present and wants to eliminate Clay, but Verona refuses to let him. However, he disregards her orders and aims his gun at Clay. Clay overpowers Lazarus and shoots him in the mouth, but leaves him alive. He then flees and makes his way to the room where Derek and his mother are hiding. As he runs up the stairs, he takes out multiple secret service agents, until he confronts Lazarus once again. Their fight is intense, with Lazarus being the toughest opponent he has faced so far. In the end, Clay manages to kill him, although he sustains some injuries.

During a tense meeting at their workplace, Derek confesses to his mother and the deputy FBI director that he has committed a serious crime. He reveals that he used a government program to illegally obtain money from innocent individuals and then used it to fund his mother's presidential campaign. Suddenly, he shoots and kills the deputy director and holds his mother at gunpoint. Meanwhile, Clay confronts Westwyld outside the office but is forced to use explosives to gain entry when Westwyld refuses to move. Clay then fatally shoots Derek and escapes through a window. Verona calls out to him, but ultimately decides to let him go. The movie ends with Clay changing into a scuba suit and swimming away from the beach.
